DUSHEEV Gapar

Gapar Dusheev is a young Kyrgyz painter who, despite his age, has already shown his art in international and private exhibitions. Born in 1987, Gapar is in his eighth year at Bishkek Secondary School No. 24. His love of painting, which he discovered at the age of six, has led him to art classes at the "Meerim" Foundation.

At the age of 12, Gapar won the grand prize at the local "My World in the New Millennium" exhibition/contest, which was a trip to Washington, D.C. to take part in the international exhibition by the same name. Children from 60 nations participated and were honored by the International Children's Art Foundation (ICAF). Gapar was proud to represent the Kyrgyz Republic.

Gapar had his first solo exhibition at the National Center of Aesthetic Upbringing in 2000. He has also participated in a young artists' exhibition at the Kyrgyz State Museum of Fine Art.
