Sadyrbek
Makeev is a sculptor and medal maker who, at the age of 48, has cultivated a following in
Turkey, Kazakhstan, Germany, as well as his native Kyrgyz Republic. He was educated at the
Kyrgyz State Art College, and since 1982, has participated in many Soviet, national, and
international exhibitions. He has been a member of the Artists' Union of the Kyrgyz
Republic since 1992. While
Sadyrbek's works can be found in numerous private collections, his art is also on
display at the Kyrgyz State Museum of Fine Art. |
