NIKISHIN   Sergey

Sergey Nikishin is a professional mountain climber. When not leading expeditions, teaching, or rescuing lost climbers, Sergey is most often found behind his camera.

Born in 1969, Sergey first became interested in photography in childhood. His casual interest slowly developed over the years while he earned a degree in Engineering and Physics and pursued his love of mountain sports. For the last five years, he has concentrated on his art and experimented with nature shots, wildlife, lighting effects, and abstract concepts.

Although Sergey claims he shoots only for himself, his photography has found a following and has illustrated several publications.
