1948, Alexander Parfenov was born to paint. A native of the Kyrgyz Republic, Alexander is
philosophical about creating art. While he recognizes the power of photography, he believes that a painting
is something that will never die. The painting process may seem simple, pigments applied
to a canvas, but "God's influence and the artist's diligence can create any fantasy
from a classic landscape to inconceivable subjects and colorful forms. The main thing is
that when working on a piece, an artist seems to charge it with his or her inspiration and
soul, which give the painting life so that it can bring a positive energy to people." |
